EASTER = Church + Food + Family

yup, that's pretty much it!
Today was full of food family and more food, and yeah did I mention FOOD?!??!!?
My mom is the goddess of all things edible... she made a 5 course (true fact) dinner
beginning with home made ricotta, caciotta, breads, prosciutto, salami etc etc...
and these were only the appetizers let's just say. We then proceeded to pasta al forno, to lamb with potatoes and then to concluded the rich banquet, 3 different desserts:
home-made coffee ice cream, pastiera, and black cherry pie :)

Have we all gained about 6 pounds each tonight, you ask??... why yes, yes we have!

On top of it all, ITALIAN MARTHA (my mom) created hand made Easter napkin holders for everyone, as well as set personalized place holders. She decorated each napkin holder with eggs wrapped in lace and tied with ribbon, very fancy & beautiful. I definitely get the "creativity" from her side :)

The whole day was a lot of fun though; Brian's family came over to celebrate with my family and his niece (3) his nephew (1.5) and my nephew (1.5) were was soooo cute to watch interacting, playing and rolling around in piles of toys :D

I love them all, they are the sweetest babies and all got along so well it was ADORABLE TO WATCH all day long. Audrey ate on my lap and wanted me to watch her sing and told me she loved me oh so many times in the most genuine of tones, it just fills my <3 with LOVE :)

We definitely needed a family day, so I am very thankful for this Easter.
